Somewhere along the line, the distinction between the ‘reader’ and the ‘do-er’ got brought up. Are those who read, less accomplished than those who don’t, because they spend more time in gaining (and storing) knowledge than in actively pursuing?
Does a calm, contemplative, analytical, cool and thinking persona come across as more boring?
Does an energetic, fearless, contantly moving, rash and doing persona come across as more exciting?
Are the two simply different?
Paulo Coelho has a Statues For Life going, and one of the gems in there says “Each human being has been granted two courses of action; that of deed and that of contemplation. Both lead to the same place.”
